Cutting edge fashion trends, killer styling, and accessories fit for Kardashian kiddos…yep, Kindred Oak has all three nailed! We may not be Kardashian around here, but The Mom in Me, MD is pretty style savvy too! I slipped a pair of the fringe ankle cuffs over my daughter’s little feet, and I was smitten. Then I added a floral beanie to her cutie pie head, transforming her into a baby boho fashionista!
Kindred Oak is all about boy fashion too! Gender neutral pants, t-shirts, beanies, and more rad options are just one click away from making your little man into a stud.
Kindred Oak was cool enough to team up for a Mom in Me, MD giveaway! The winner will get a toddler/child pair of fringe cuffs and a toddler to girl size floral beanie (compliments of Kindred Oak) as shown in the picture above. All you have to do is enter to win HERE. Entry rules require that you follow The Mom in Me, MD on Instagram (@themominmemd) AND that you follow Kindred Oak on the social media site of your choosing (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc.) As you already know, all of my opinions are always my own. I like what I like, and I don’t mind saying so.
If you are looking for a one of a kind special occasion outfit…look no further. Last year, when my husband and I were planning to have our daughter dedicated in our church, I poured over the internet and sorted through countless clothing racks to find the perfect Christening like gown for my daughter. Everything seemed generic. I wanted to fall in love with something special. Just as I was about to settle for something I didn’t really like, I found Baby Beau & Belle! This precious online boutique specializes in handmade Special Occasion, Christening, Baptismal, and Dedication outfits, as well as some gorgeous clothes that are perfect for pictures. The bonnets and boy’s caps are adorable!
The cotton, knits, and silk fabrics are soft and luxurious, and the lace, embroidery, and shell/pearl buttons are all imported from Italy, Switzerland, and France. Each piece is lovingly hand-made by Roberta Salton, the United States based shop owner of Baby Beau & Belle.
So, if you are looking for something timeless and beautiful (or handsome), Baby Beau & Belle is the place to shop. Although these pieces are a little pricy, they will be a special keepsake for your child to pass down. You can purchase online directly from Baby Beau & Belle. Make sure to allow enough time before your event since items are hand-made. Roberta does usually have some items in stock and ready to ship, but this isn’t always the case depending on the size you may need. All photos are taken either directly from Baby Beau & Belle’s webpage or are professional photos of my daughter taken by Portraiture Studios, Fishers.
I already dished on one of my favorite baby shoe brands, Livie and Luca. Now onto another favorite…See Kai Run. This brand makes some super cute early walkers called, Smaller, in addition to their standard toddler and kids shoes. The Smaller collection is soft soled, but these early walkers have supportive grip in just the right places. The toddler shoes have a full firm sole and are great for running and playing. Ayla thinks they are extra comfy, and most of them can be worn without socks as long as it isn’t too hot and humid outside. Oh, and they have received the Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association! That means that they are medically good for your little one’s twinkle toes. You can find these online, at Nordstrom, and at Nordstrom Rack (yeah, for sale items!!!). Check them out and let me know what you think! The pics are all taken directly from the See Kai Run webpage. Click the hyperlinks for more great options.
Does every outfit start with the shoes, or do the shoes just make the outfit? YES and YES!! Babies have the best little feet. If we have to hide them with shoes, we better do it in style! Here is a glimpse into one of my favorite shoe brands for Ayla. In addition to baby sizes for boys and girls, they also design children and women’s shoes.
I stumbled across this brand quite by accident, but once I looked them up, I was hooked. WHO ARE THEY? None other than Livie & Luca. Here’s a sampling of shoe pictures taken from their website. Beware, you might fall in love too. If you find them to be a little too pricy, you can also find them on Zappos usually at a discount. Those may be last season, but really, who cares? Cute baby shoes are cute baby shoes!
